I'm just wandering, how many people in my empire (G.R.O.S.S.) are still actually playing and submitting games at least once every three weeks? At the start when I first got the metaverse to work for me, and when I got my first, and only join offer from Captian Jack Sparrow I was very happy and ready to get playing. I felt wanted by someone no matter how new I was to the metaverse, and I guess thats why the offer kind of appealed to me. But after about two months or so of being on the G.R.O.S.S empire it seemed like I never found anyone from my empire chating much on the forum, or submiting very many games. I don't really check to see if they have very often, but when I do it seems like it never changes. And if anyone has noticed I like chating on the forum, and getting to know people more. Because its kind of like a little fun place for me to stop by and chat a little. I also try and submit games as much as my time and skill allows. So I guess my point is: Is there very many people that chat, or submit a game in at least a three week period in my empire? :notsure:

You might want to expand you horizons. You are not limited to chatting in just your empire (this is not a recruitment). Please drop by any of the empire threads that you see people posting in and join the fun, post, respond, etc. The GGs have a lot of visitors from other empires that drop by to shoot the moose, err.... the bull, so to speak. :D LOL :D LOL

John Greenwood last month 3 pirates posted games and your one of them. You know your always welcome to post in the Guardians thread. You don't have to be a member. As you say the chatting is at least half the fun. So feel free to have fun in our forum. :D

John, as you have started to figure out several empires are in decline. There is a rather interesting discussion about that in this http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=186876#187950. Please understand I am not trying to recruit you. I just noticed that you have read this thread.

Also there is an alternate metaverse that holds statistics on who is playing in the metaverse. Unfortunately it only holds the current month and previous month take a look http://altmeta.galciv.org/empireplayer.php

ARRRRR! Tortuga is always open.. thats where this pirate spends his time... and prowls the various empires forums just in case.. a post to steal or a thread to save. The cap'n must be on vacation or something.. havent heard from him in a bit. but kitwarriors around and gerakken pops in every now and then.....

I'm on now and then during the week... early moring and late night in GB time.. and usually ill get my games in on a friday or sunday.

Hi Jon, before I joined GROSS I used to be in the now defunct ANZACS. The reason I left was there was only 3 active members at the time and GROSS had about 10.

Never feel obligated to stay in an empire if you are not happy, but as all the other posters say, you are able to join in their conversation threads.

I no longer play the game (1 year and 180 games are enough for me) but I now hang around waiting for GC2.

John Greenwood Star Fleet Empire is always open for Chats to all Empires..LOL I enjoy chats myself.. :p
