Great Game - A few Suggestions

Finally, an RTS that I can enjoy. Thanks.

Just a few minor things (I make notes as I play)
- Ship movement is good, but sometimes they bump into each other, it's semi annoying in the heat of battle, perhaps larger ships could be below the smaller ones etc.

- When capitals are in pursute of another capital, they pursue, stop, attack, and then drift behind again, then they start pursuring again. Why do they stop? Can't they just shadow the other capital and keeps the guns going without the constant leaving range.

- More detailed 'time' data would help. Ie: when I send a scout somewhere, mabye it could tell me the time till arrival (10:32 etc)

- Why do my ships fly though enemy sectors and pirate bases, can we designate parameters for this? Perhaps I should read the manual? :-)

- After you build a capital factory, you can build a free capital ship. Can there be a way to turn this off?

- A way to slow down construction would be cool.

- When my ships fly into an enemy gravwell, it doesn't look good when they just sit beside a gauss gun while it blows them apart, that captian is fired.

- Diplomacy is ummm, well... Someone else can talk about that.

- If I have researched everything, and I loose a research station, does it matter? I think it should.

Please tell me you don't mean trade ships, that's a really old beta bug. Generally though, your ships take the shortest route. You can shift+right click destinations to queue waypoints.

It's available as part of map making, but not an ingame option.

If I have researched everything, and I loose a research station, does it matter? I think it should.

If you need 5 stations to research a ship hull, then you lose one, you'll no longer be able to build that ship ;)

OP makes some good points and I also have an issue that capital ships should not climb over an asteroid in such a very long matter and just go around it
