Noob Question alert:

So I know theres no cap on the amount of planets/stars/players which is really cool. And I noticed everything is crammed into the same galaxy. So I assume even if you had 100 stars there would still only be one galaxy? Anyways my question was how exactly do you travel from star to star? They don't exactly have phase lanes between them. Sorry for the noob question I'm sure it's something really obvious too :/.

It's cool, you haven't played before. Stars just expand farther and farther out. You don't even notice.

There is a technology called "Long Jump". It's civic research. This allows you to travel to any star from another star.

Avatar got it :) Stars aren't connected to each other in the same ways that planets are, so with the tech researched, so you can jump from a star to any other star. It can only be done from the star itself, though!

If you find the Jump Drive artifact you don't need to research Long Range Phase jump, but chances are you will of already researched it.

I'm pretty sure the Jump Drive artifact was removed from the release as it was fairly useless?

I haven't seen it pop up at all, but I could be wrong.

Nope I found it before, it makes star-star jumps almost instant now (mm trade ships!)

Lets not forget that you can travel to other systems through wormholes!

I've only been able to do that within systems. How did you do this?
