Ascend?

Hi all,I'm new to the game and finally finished all research available. can my civ. ascend? or do I need to do more than just research?

You ought to win as soon as you research the Final Frontier technology. If you didn't win, that either means that an alien race beat you to it (and the alien tech victory option was switched on) or that you switched off the tech victory option when starting the game.

thanks, I switched off tech victory by mistake...DOH

Despair not Capt.!
You will master the game, I have no doubt.

Try mucking around with the different Political Parties when you start, and try using different combos of the ability points given to you at the beginning when you set up your Civ.
You will eventually find your style of game.
