i agree with you on that, not much else to do.

I would love to see MP at this stage. I know from previous posts, that the devs have some sort of MP ready, as they told that they were playing against each other. So maybe beta1 could become beta1.5 with MP. As the beta1 is about if stuff just works.
Even though if we had to add the IP to just play a 1vs1, that i wouldnt mind at all.

I even think that if MP was here, there would be more beta testers

Learning how to mod the game would be a good thing I think.

This game in development compared to where it will be in a year will be so radically different that anything we do now won't matter that much.

Don't get me wrong, love the decision to wait, was really worried that some features would have to be added in later or modded in.

Right now we're testing the game engine and the graphics engine, I get the feeling that if the graphics engine doesn't get at least one or two updates to it by 2008 people will feel the game looks dated. That's just a fact of life, like Stalker being delayed, some people feel it's graphics look dated.


I'd just like to know a little bit more about what we should be doing next. Waiting till June?

I agree, release something: multiplayer or another race or even the full TEC or something else to tinker and tear apart.

We're still in technical testing. Once Ironclad has additional bug fixes in that people have mentioned, those will be released and (hopefully) those issues will be resolved. I'm sure other bits will make it in as well as we move along, however.

they arent in the hammock cause they either went to get refreshments or are testing the local environment and maybe even trying to see how interactive the local female NPCs are

well if its gonna be used by someone, i bet its tristan good(N)es. He aint finished with the vasari yet.. well he wont tell me so that my conclusion

they could have notebooks and working while they lay in the hammock, maybe they just needed to find a way to charge the battery

Well usually when I think of solar empires sure its galactic.It would be cool to have the option to invade and build cities on planets that would be used to inhabit resources as well.


Of course ground base would have there own unique military units like tanks,and fighters just for land base stuff to and buildings heh.
