Problem with video card

I have a problem with my video card a SiS M760Gx. When I start to play a game I have a initialing errorr. Says "video card or driver doesn't support alpha blending". What can I do? The Directx is Ok. But the problem there is the same.

Onboard video chip if I am not mistaken.

General approach would be:

1 - Make sure drivers are current.

2 - Try lowering the resolution before loading game to see if the game can be played.

I have seen some other forum comments on other sites indicating this chip is not exactly "cutting edge", so you may be limited in some game play.
