Let's go Fly a Kite

Well the wind didn't really want to cooperate today. It made my bike ride to work today much more difficult, and then the winds ceased when we tried to fly kites with the kids at work. Most of the time was spent trying to explain to kids why they need to fly kites against the wind and not with it, or untangling mid-air collisions.

Hopefully the wind will remain ceased when I make my sunless ride back home. I'm hoping I can make myself bike a lot more this week being that I burned an awful lot of gas this weekend doing some chaufering to some VIPs...but mostly a single VIP. Maybe this will require a separate article.

Tonight's agenda: help a friend look at bikes (hardly a chore at all), continue disassembling the bike my friends gave my for my b-day that they found in an abandoned lot, maybe vacuum, and now I can cross off "write a pointless blog" from the list. Sorry there isn't much more of interest to share.

What do you do? Fly kites with Kids? That's an awesome job. lol

Thanks Trin, fortunately flying kites is not a regular part of my job description so I only have to do it when I feel patient enough to endure.

Ted does nothing Trinite! He comes to work only to play dodge ball, have snack, and occassionally console the 4th grade girls when some crisis such as a hamster death has occurred. Really he just comes to play. He gives me this huge song and dance about being such a critical part of our supurvisory dynamic duo. Well you know what honey - I really just carry his ass all the time. He has no idea how lucky he is to have me as a boss. Ted, just wait till this summer....I'll be consoling you as if you were a 4th grade girl.

You are so lucky I like you and really do value you. I wouldn't have helped you try and kill yourself this morning in the gym otherwise. ;)
