You only get two choices, communications or military, when establishing new starbases. What happened to the mining starbase?
All starbases automatically mine resources in range now
That streamlines the game a little bit.
Yeah I think that was the idea
You can also get an Economic Star Base choice, IF there is a Core/Colony within the starting range of affect for that Star Base.
Mining is now automatic for any Resources within range, no more Mining Ring.
