First of all, I have to explain that I am a near-blind (and now more blind than near ^^) person. To use any computer, I have to use a video enlargment software. In Windows XP and before, my favorite software was called Lunar. From Windos 7 and above, ther is an integrated enlarger ([Windows]+{+] to activate and zoom in, [Windows]+[-] to zoom out, [Windows]+[Esc.] to quit, [Windows]+[Ctrl]+M for parameters).
When I bought GalCiv I & II, I was running on XP and Lunar. I never could enlarge them, as well as many 'hard-vieo' games. I tossed all of them in my 'later' list.
Now, I just migrate to 10, and discovered the integrated enlarger. It can even enlarge MMOs like WoW and others and such 'hard-video' games.... except GalCiv I & II. The only way I found to make them running was checking the "Disable Full-Screen Mode Optimizers' in the Compatiblity tab. Alas... alas... alas... it seems those optimizers are the way to make enlarger work properly. So, still no enlargement on GalCiv I & II.
Does anyone know of any patche or anothe work-around ???????
By the way, and for the technical ones, GalCiv III works perfectcly with the enlarger. Alas, triple-alas, the interface of the game is not as... neat as in the prvious games, and I have some troubles using it.
Thank you to have come so far ^^
