Hi everyone,
I'm an 8th Grade Social Studies teacher, and in the last week I used my copy of the Political Machine to teach kids about the elections. They got very much into it, and started to piece together how important it was to win swing states and how to win elections in general. Kids made their own characters, and watched simulations of them running against each other, got Ben Carson elected, and if Ajamu Baraka is Barack Obama's cousin.
I was wondering if there was a way to get a classroom set of the game, so next year when my classes are 1-to-1, I can have students duel each other in the political realm as homework or class assignments, really get them to focus in on elections and run them themselves.
