Constructors using more than one Administrator

I just discovered in my 2.8 Crusade opt-in game that my recent iteration of AI generated constructor ship uses two Administrators. That doesn't make sense since Crusade, or does it?

Most likely it has 2 construction modules, which means it can be used to make 2 starbases.

Huh, that's right. I wasn't aware that you could use your constructor more than once if it has more than one constructor module in Crusade. One never ceases to learn ... Thanks.

I also thought that this was a bug at first.  I've had constructors recently that cost three administrators and allowed for building of three separate SBs.

Have you noticed that the new constructors that cost more admins also have shorter range?  I did after I upgraded several that were at the limit of their range.  I had to sacrifice one of them in order to get the other two back in motion.

That is where customization in the ship designer shines. Add more life support modules to increase your range.
