I'd also like to be able to assign ships/fleets to command groups and set movement waypoints.
Edit: And while we are at it I'd also like a next ship/fleet button. Not just next idle. Super handy in the early game and still useful in the late game for pinging around the map and getting a sense of the distribution of your forces.
