If you have a long build cue, covering more than one screen, and you have the dexterity, you can click and drag an item, then use a second finger to rotate the scroll wheel to move through and scroll through the list. When you are at the point you want, drop the item. You can get an item from the bottom of the cue to the top of the cue in one smooth combination of movements. I swap use of the mouse between both hands to give my aching wrists a break, and this trick works much better with one hand than the other. Your mileage may vary.
A pop-to-the-top function would be better, though. I am in favor of right click means pop to the top and ctrl right click means push to the bottom.
