If you can send in the save with a bug report we can track down the issue.

I think you misunderstand how it works. It doesn't force DOW on anyone that invades a planet that was a homeworld. If a player has the trait, and their homeworld is invaded, it forces DOW against the invader. It only works with your own homeworld.

Name your homeworld, the world where you get DOW'd, and the world you control that fails to get the invader DOW'd.

Venerable is ridiculous! Again I will state that having EVERY race DOW is absurd and way too much of a penalty. It should only be that the other Pragmatic Races DOW and there should be a pop up warning stating that before your transport lands since it isn't possible to be certain whether your opp has the trait.

He's saying it's not his homeworld but it is the homeworld of a pragmatic race.

Also, yes it does need a pop-up warning but it is not overpowered. It's at the end of the line and it only applies to the homeworld. You can take every other planet of theirs and then they'll take with surrender to someone or accept peace. Then you can take out everyone else until having everyone declare war on you is irrelevant.

SergSVow, could you clarify?

From what I understand, the sequence of events is:

- Faction A has 'venerable'
- Faction B conquers Faction A's homeworld Homeworld A
- Faction C declares war on Faction B due to 'Venerable'
- Faction C conqueres Homeworld A from Faction B
- Nobody declares war on Faction C

Is this correct? In this case exelsis is correct and 'Venerable' should not apply and nobody should declare war on Faction C. This is because 'Venerable' is a property of a faction and not of a world. You don't get 'Venerable' from conquering a venerable homeworld.

That might mean folks not allied or already at war. Otherwise it might say "Pragmatic" races.  Neutral having two definitions here and all. 

zuPloed, there is situation:

1. Me and Arcean standing near by the capital of Iridium -Iridia.

2. If I capture Iridia - everebody is declaring war to me, all races.

3. If I do nothing, and on the next turn Arcean captured Iridia, only Arcean are declaring war to me, nobody declaring war to them.

that's all, that is the question - is that correct? Or not?

Hmm come to think of it, this would be the second UI thing that would be nice for Venerable. Having a different diplomacy dialog than the invader faction declaring war on you. Something more along the lines of the invader faction reacting to your DoW due to Vernable.

(First thing is the dialog warning you, that you are invading the Homeworld of a venerable race)

Now I repeat the questions:
if my Empire invades the planet (the capital of the race with a Venerable property), and all declare war on my Empire, when Arcean invaded them and conquered the planet, why no one has declared war on the Arcean?
In that case, why automatically including a state of war with the Arcean only me? and my friend - Iconian too?
Why there was no warning - the diplomatic screen? (DoW Arcean to me)

Why there was no warning - about Venerable? (if it necessary)

Just a little clarification to my previous post: I didn't mean to say there was a warning for invading a venerable factions homeworld.

I meant to say that this and a special declaration of war dialog for in case of venerable are things which should get implemented.
