I would really like to see a simultaneous turn option for multiplayer in Gal Civ III.

My weekly 4x game group has been playing Age of Wonders 3 for the last year (and Civ 5 prior to that). I really wanted to get the group to GalCiv III.

One of the other players and I tried it out 2 player and it just didn't cut the mustard for us. Compared to AoW3 there is an unacceptable amount of time when you are stuck unable to interact with your Civ. Sure you can do some things, but far too much is locked out.

I know there are folks who hate the so called "click-fest" side effect of Simultaneous turns. But we've been playing with it for 3+ years in a group of 4-6 players for weekly gaming. It just doesn't bother us, and is by far preferred to having to wait for each other player to finish all their movement for example. Both Civ and AoW allow for the user to choose the mode (simultaneous or not).

Please, please, please make this an option for GalCiv3.
