Other players spam?

One of the major problems I'm seeing in v1.5 (and probably all previous versions) is that ship designs that other players have made are displayed. I consider it a major flaw to be able to see the ship designs of other players.

Not to mention the fact that many players might want to keep their ship designs secret, but it also makes a mess of the user interface. When you go to build or design a ship it is very annoying to have to scroll through an apparently completely unorganized list that can be very, very long (depending on how creative you and your friends are in making ship designs).

Yes, I only play multi-player.

Although, even if I were to play single player I would still like to have some organizational options in the ship UI. Perhaps something like "Show only ships with hull size medium" or sort alphabetically by name. I can't figure out how it is sorting them now other than that often the most recent built ship is near the top of the list (not at the top of the list just near).

Primary concerns:

Ship UI List appears to be a long unsorted mess
(Human) Players can see each others designs (no way to keep a ship design secret)
Worry that another player might delete your own ship design! (I need to test this out but didn't want to ruin the current game I'm in)

Maybe I'm missing something, but ship lists seem to be this big "box of toys" that I rummage around in hoping to find the one I want.
