Haven't tried playing multiplayer in a long time, lately anytime I go into the lobby and create a game I can sit there for hours with out anyone joining and when someone does many times they leave the lobby right away.
Try playing with smaller map or adjusting the map features and see if that helps. I understand you shouldn't have to if the game supports it but, you may be able to play while they look into the issue.
I would also suggest each of you create separate tickets or just add all the information to 1 ticket for all your games including saved game, debug.err files and what lead up to the crashes. Local game files including the debug.err file and saved games can be found in C:\Users\(User Name)\My Documents\My Games\GalCiv3. One should always compress (zip) the files they are sending.
