No matter what issue you oppose, giving a speech against an issue gives you a massive boost in favor of that issue as well as a 90000 favorable rating for the issue from every party. In one example I opposed religious freedom as Trump and gained major support.
This breaks the whole game strategy because it leads to easy victories in short campaigns while in long campaigns you have to place ads supporting an issue you opposed in your speech just to keep support.
Yeah, I've seen something like this. In my experience, it seems like when I play as a Republican, no matter what I support, I get 0% gains. But if I expose something everyone favors, like Deficit Reduction, +19% favorability.
