Hello,
I was wondering if there is some type of setting I need to apply to get crossfire working with Ashes of The Singularity? Crossfire works on the DX11 but not the DX12. I only have one of my GPU's working during the DX12 version of the game. I can only assume the game is so new that either the developers and or AMD has not released any updates or drivers.
My system specs are:
AMD FX 8350 4.4ghz. // Asus Crosshair v Formula z MOBO // G. Skill Trident X 16gb (2x8) Ram // Radeon R9 295x2 GPU // Corsair H100i CPU cooler// Corsair RM1000 PSU // Windows 10 Home 64bit. (Upgraded form Windows 7) // Catalyst Control Driver 15.7.1 (newest amd driver) // Samssung 850evo 1tb SSD for games // Samsung 850 Pro 256gb ssd for OS //
Crossfire/SLI support isn't yet in for DX12. We're actively working on it, and have some proto-types working. Our hope is to have it ready in a few months.
R9 295x2 will be a little tight because though it has 4GBs, if you use Crossfire you only get 2gb per card. So in crossfire you'll have to run as a 2gb card.
Crossfire isn't working in DX11 mode for me, disappointed it's be so long for DX12 support.
4790K, MSI 390/290, asus maximus hero vii, 32gb gskill tridantX 2400 mhz, wins 10, 2 x 500gb samsung 850 evo's.
Thanks for the information Kollok.
the R295x2 has 8Gb. 4Gb per GPU. So eventually they will be able to share the memory.
Hi does my 2 GPU's as crossfire will work I have 2 x R9 Fury X both cards are plugged in .
