I got the same problem and it is really annoying since the United Planets is a really important part of the game.

Please repair this problem.

all races show up but only the frist 6 can get votes by humans,  the AI can vote who they like. they is some sort of scroll bar missing or they should add a scroll bar. 

it makes UP totally pointless without being able to vote on yourself.  

Can we please get an answer from a admin/moderator/developer or whatever - would like to know if anything is getting done about this issue

As far as i was aware the voting was limited to only votig for the top 6 races this is by design the fact that the ai can vote for more is i believe a bug

Everyone I know personally thinks this is complete nonsense and rubbish, and hates it.

Then Stardock tosses in an arbitrary -3 diplo penalty for leaving UP.

We're all demanding direct democracy IRL, at least here in Canada, but in our games, we're going backwards, in the future, no less.

In Canada, its called the "First Past the Post" system, by the way, feel free to look up one of the many, many articles castigating it as undemocratic, broken, corrupt, subject to rampant abuse, and an archaic impediment to progress.
