Is the insane bonuses you get from building the Research Cloisters / Quantum Research Foundation / Ascension Gate working as intended?
Currently you receive a 50% / 100% / 200% bonus to your total faction research value. I.e. in my current game I'm producing ~12k research per turn, building the research cloister changed this to ~18k and the quantum to ~24k per turn, the ascension gate will be ~36k. What's more is that even though they are player achievements and therefore unique, once you have upgraded one you can build the lower level on another planet. All three (if exploited) will boost my research from ~12k per turn to a whooping ~54k per turn.
In a game where research is simply far too easy to obtain, where I'm currently researching a technology every turn already, isn't this extra bonus a little overpowered?
I'm trying to reduce research times in my current mod as pacing simply doesn't work past the first few turns, probably make it a global colony bonus instead of a faction bonus.
