Planetary Defense not being calculated correctly.

Insane map, all abundants, no minor races, rare pirates, 19 factions.

I just noticed this, and have checked it in several planets.

As an example, I have an Elerium defense shield (level 4) and a planetary defense system (level 3). My planetary defense should be 135% with bonuses due to level, but it's reading 100%

EDIT- The resistance numbers are calculating the bonus from the Planetary Defense System level correctly.

I'm pretty sure you can't go over 100%. Cos there is no benefit to go over 100%, its like eating 100% of an apple, You can't eat 135% of an apple.

If this is correct -- http://galciv3.gamepedia.com/Ground_invasions -- planetary defense of 100% means 100% of the invading troops will be wiped out before they ever land.  

Though maybe the Drengin would enjoy womping on the would-be invaders even more than that....

One thing I forgot to mention, that's where invasion types come in. They can reduce defence or resistance etc.

This is why I'd think it could go over 100%. Resistance can.
