Playing insane, w/ 6 additional majors, and rare minors, rare pirates, other settings default. About 17 hours into the fray. I have about 55 colonies.

I saw this in one of the betas as well, but did not see it re-appear after the next drop (then again, it could be because I restarted games w/ each beta drop).

One noticeable symptom of the crash coming is that the movement of ships across the screen starts to get jumpy, not smooth as normal.

I've gone through your site that asks to assess my system, and all aspects are at recommendation or higher. Game is saved, what would the developers like me to do next?

Edit: drivers are up-to-date, Win 8.1, i7-4980HQ @2.80GHz, 16 GB RAM, 64 bit, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M
