Max Hyperion Shrinker

So after doing a lot of messing around with building placement and associated bonuses the highest Hyperion Shrinker level I can get with Thalan is level 16, and level 14 with other races. This is using all the +3 military adjacency buildings (elerium shield planetary defence dome, etc) or antimatter power plants and or the Gai vortex (Thalan).

I thought that the random event that's supposed to add +1 to all adjacency bonuses would increase this but it didn't change the level of the Shrinker. Has anyone else either gotten higher than 16, (post antimatter powerplant nerf) ? or noticed if that event affects the shrinker ?

i got 15 with a custom race using the yor tree... at least i think it was 15 i might have to double check

I got to 16 using a custom race with the Thalan tech tree, gia vortex, elerium defence shield and antimatter generators - it helps that I built the shrinker on a +3 military tile and then I got the +1 adjancy bonus galactic event.

It came out as a total +75% bonus on top of the existing Thalan bonuses to capacity, and I chose the capacity trait at each stage of the tech tree - By the end of the game my Frigate class vessels had more capacity on them than most races battleships and I was toting 2 interceptor carrier modules on each frigate.

In the end my ships where mostly defense with a few end tech missile launchers that where specced for maximum range and damage and grouped with range extending modules - I'd let my endless waves of interceptors fly in and take on the front waves of the enemy fleets while my capitol ships would sit at the back end of the battle spamming missiles as much as they could.

I do wish that my capitol class ships would stay AWAY from the enemy instead of flying towards them considering they are geared for damage and range, but there we go.
