I'm looking for someone who might be willing to help me troubleshoot a problem I have encountered in my faction mod. Figured maybe get more conversation if I post regarding the specific issue rather than within the mod thread.
So, I have a set of techs which unlock improvements. (I will post the xml below)
Bioresource Specializations 1, 2, and 3, unlock improvements Bioresource Creator 1 2 3, respectively. So far so good. These buildings do not appear on the planetary improvement list until the tech is researched.
A tech "BioresourceIntegration" has as a prereq one of the three specializations. This tech unlocks Bioresource Integrators 1 2 and 3, which each are marked to upgrade from Creators 1 2 and 3 respectively.
Then a tech "BioresourceMaster" has a prereq of "BioresourceIntegration"... and this tech unlocks a final upgraded improvement based on the Integrators 1 2 and 3.
At the start of the game, the improvements which are upgrades (Integrators and Master Integrators) appear grayed out in the improvement list even though 1) The tech has not been researched and 2) the improvement which it upgrades from is not present.
I've looked over my xml many times and can't figure out what I have done wrong. (I'll post it in a second post to avoid an overly long OP).
