Bug / Exploit: Dupicate ship

Have ship (or multiple) in orbit of planet (havent tried from starbase/fleet but likely there too)

Setup:

 

Have a ship with high move (to make it easier)

Have a ship (you want to duplicate in orbit of planet).

 

Tell ship with high move to move long distance.

 

Quickly go click on planet with ship to duplicate, and start clicking 'eject' to launch ship.

 

it does not 'launch' until they other ship finishes moving,  but I have been able to get up to ten copies of my 'ship to duplicate' by clicking on the eject repeatedly.

I saw a similar bug, but the ships were really messed up; I could see the ship in the ship list, but it wouldn't appear in the hexes. It would also be in weird spots in the battle viewer (like behind the enemy).

Also, it would crash the game if the duplicated ship was decommissioned/destroyed. I don't know if it was the same bug though, it was in beta 5.

I have duplicated this twice more.

 

Can't swear on the decommission/destroyed,  but mine have fought and combat with problems.

 

I do still CTD fairly regularly anyways,  so destruction may have caused CTD,   but will attempt to duplicate and see.

 

But definalty seems to be a issue of checking availability when button is clicked, not necessarily when orders are processed
