Well as we all know, Beta is ending and we are going into the final push.  Im guessing GC 3 is gold now and thats awesome.  Its been alot of fun watching this grow for the past couple of years(has it been that long?) and I cant wait to see what else comes.

I do wonder about a few things, like the battle viewer and if it will be tweaked out more since i think it is so much more limited than in GC 2.  Doesnt have near the amount of views and using free at many times is painful as it wont center on a ship at all.  I also still see ships flying to the edges where you cant see them anymore.  Small things, I know, but im hoping this will get some love at some point.

Would also like to know why you cant sort planets that you have discovered like in GC 2, especially when you play on some of the galaxy sizes!!  I mean that would be such a great thing to have...not sure how it could be modded in, but I hope someone can come up with something.

Was also sad, to see that your ships dont get "grow" as they battle anymore, meaning their hps get higher to reflect their experience.  Another great feature from GC 2 that isnt in game and im curious why.  Makes you love to keep those older more experienced ships around(ya know like keeping older devs around instead of just replacing them with younger ones  ).  

Still, these are all small little things that dont detract from this great fun game.  SD has done it again and I think you guys rocks!!  Also, on a personal note, I found my daughters name in game for the first time...Abrielle and I geeked out!  Yes, I know the names can be added in the XML, but the fact that you guys did that and the game came out with, just blows my mind!  I brought her down to see her system(which was 2 habitable planets of 8 and 9).  She smiled when I pointed them out and then went back upstairs to finish watching Sofia(Sorry but shes a Sofia fan over games right now...I plan to change that when she hits about 3.5 years old!)
