Main Menu - Hall of Fame is disabled
- is this supposed to be disabled in the release candidate?
Options Screen
- Looks unfinished as in a ton of blank space.
- Input screen needs a better layout. There isn't enough hotkeys to warrant as much scrolling. There needs to be some grouping setup between each category of hot keys. Camera controls, ship designer controls, map controls, etc...
Govern > Colony Screen
- The header bar is all wrong.
- Research has no icon and no sort
- Income has the research icon
- Production has the wealth icon
- Missing tool tips. Hovering over the icons on the header bar should tell me what they do. Right now I need to click one of the values below the filter to see what it does.
Galaxy Map
- when set for no grid lines outside cultural borders the grid lines bleed 1 hex past the cultural borders and dissipate.
- I know this will probably not come out for release but I would like to see the color and size of stars in the FOW, possibily limited to a racial trait. I would think a this information should be visible from the outset of the game. It will help with choosing where to send colony ships. Related to this would be have the old Stellar Cartography racial trait back.
- Edge Scrolling does not appear to work.
- Unit detail should display more stats such as sensor radius. When I'm exploring I like to know my sensor range. If my sensor range is 5 I know I need to be a distance of 2 hexes of a star to see all planets surrounding the star. It would be nice not to have to go into the ship detail screen to find this information. edit: nevermind, I found this on the ship list
Colony Screen > Goven Planet
- When I adjust the sliders the planet screen behind it should update the turns to completion. If the active window is a problem then the Govern Planet screen should have the build queue showing the adjustments. At the very least upon exiting the Govern Planet screen the Planet screen should update the build order times.
- no option to disable auto upgrades for all planets. I would love this ability
Ship Designer
- need button to show/hide obsolete designs
- delete key on keyboard should prompt if the users wants to delete a design
- filters selected in ship designer should be saved. This way if I exit the ship designer and re-enter. I will have the same filters in place. Also, there is some tedium required to many old ship designs.
- need delete button for ship components. Steam Cloud prevents me from deleting the extra templates and components.
- The ship filter should not disappear after deleting a ship design.
- I make a few different variations when I test a design. When I go into the ship designer and want the ability to remove one of my old designs without having to re-select my filter after deleting a design.
- Go into ship designer
- Select user
- Select a ship and click Delete
- Press Yes at the confirmation
At this point I'm now back to the all and have to re-select my filters to scroll the list.
Manage Planet Screen
- shipyard tool-tip doesn't display manufacturing cost
Balance
- I like the new shipyard cost. It prevents rushes and later on I can build constructors for cheaper shipyards.
- too many starting credits - I think even 3000 was too much. Understand that this is something I will probably just need to continue to mod. 3000 allows me 1 or 2 colony ships a factory and a possibly a scout.
Battle Viewer
- mirrored weapons do not display firing animation.
Research Screen
- someone needs to check the Terran scientist's prescription. He always needs to take his glasses off to talk to me.
Diplomancy
- specializations should be untradeable...I'm sure this might not be a popular idea considering people want to be able to research all specializations.
