Beta 6 .95.3 A start at catching typos in the tech tree and otherwise

Spelling:

1. Parallel (correct) is spelled Parallal (wrong) in these files:

- TechDefsText.xml In the GenericInterstellarGovernance_Dec label
- IconianTechDefs,xml In the IconianInterstellarGovernance_Dec label
- ThalanTechDefsText.xml In the ThalanInterstellarGovernance_Dec label

2. Stellar (correct) is spelled Steller (wrong) in these tech tree files:

- IconianTechDefsText.xml
- TechDefsText.xml
- ThalanTechDefsText.xml
- YorTechDefsText.xml

All of which use it in the string"Allows use of Steller Empire form of government."

"Steller" is also used in 28 other files, but they do not appear to be in text that the player will see.  Grep to find them if interested.

3. Competence (correct) is spelled competance (wrong) in

- IconianTechDefs,xml in IconianIndustrialSpecialization1_Dec
- ThalanTechDefsText.xml in ThalanIndustrialSpecialization1_Dec

4. Accommodating (correct) is spelled accomodating (wrong) in these files:

- TechDefsText.xml In the GenericEnvironmentOptimization2_Dec label
- IconianTechDefs,xml In the IconianEnvironmentOptimization2_Dec label
- ThalanTechDefsText.xml In the ThalanEnvironmentOptimization2_Dec label

5. Constructor (correct) is spelled Constuctor (wrong) in these files, in the phrase "Reduces the Mass of Colony & Constuctor modules.":

- TechDefsText.xml In the GenericInterstellarSpecialization2_ShortDec label
- IconianTechDefs,xml In the IconianInterstellarSpecialization2_ShortDec label
- ThalanTechDefsText.xml In the ThalanInterstellarSpecialization2_ShortDec label

11. Fabricator (correct) is spelled fabricatorc in ImprovementText.xml for this label:

- MolecularFabricatorc_Name

It's also spelled the same way in numerous places in ImprovementDefs.xml, but I don't think the player will see any of those (a modder might).

Grammar:

1. "Advances in material sciences has given us" should be "Advances in material sciences have given us" in these files:

- TechDefsText.xml in GenericAdvancedConstruction_Dec
- IconianTechDefs,xml  in IconianAdvancedConstruction_Dec
- ThalanTechDefsText.xml in ThalanAdvancedConstruction_Dec

If I find others I'll post them.

Update: As of .95 (9.5.3) all of the above typos are still in the game, and have now propagated themselves into the various tutorial xml files.  I recommend the use of a grep and replace tool.

Thank you, Stalker0.  Beta 6 caught me in the middle of a 3 week road trip with limited or no internet for much of it, or I'd have time to look for more. If we hadn't stopped at my in-laws house I wouldn't have been able to download it.

Related, but is a bug(since beta 5 at least):

When speaking to any minor race, a major race's leader name shows up on top, not the minor race's leader name.

As of the latest patch .95.3, all of the above typos are still in the game, and it's gotten worse, almost all of them are also now in one or more of the various tutorial files.  Stardock, please use a simple grep and replace tool to fix them.

maybe you could file a support ticket referencing this thread?  Or even save your message in a .txt Notepad file and upload it with the support ticket?  Maybe that will get their attention.
