[Suggestion] Event Label Suggestions:
<race> Only valid for a certain race, this would allow unique colonization events for that specific race, and a different feel when you played them. (Suggested by Tetrasodium)
<MinTurn> The turn this event becomes active, it will not fire before this turn. Allowing for you to grade your events by severity for late game play. 0 sets this setting to off. This would be used in colonizing events also. I want someone on turn 500 paying more or gaining more money than turn 1 for example.
<random>Yes or No. If Yes, it plays like the default, if no it fires on the min turn label, allowing you to set specific event chains up, turn 30,31,32 for example to tell a small story. It also allows modders to set an event for turn 1 introducing their mod for example, or to completely change the galaxy at a specific time, say for an invasion or rebellion of a certain race. This setting might be useful for the devs in the campaign missions also.
<ideology>Allow events to only fire for either: all, benevolent, malevolent or pragmatic races.
Three methods of doing this:
Example 1) Malevolent 50, - means 50 points at least in the malevolent tree before the event can fire.
Example 2) Pragmatic 50 Malevolent 50, - means at least 50 points in each tree, if you were feeling like even more ideological control.
Example 3) Benevolent. - means the race has to lean toward being benevolent to fire then event, having equal or more points in benevolent.
Values:
(*Rnd*) A value in the syntax. (1Rnd10) would be between 1 and ten, this was more how galciv2 handled values I believe.
(*Add*Max*) A value in the syntax. (1Add50Max30) would increase, or reduce using reduce, the value of the event by 1 every 50 turns up to a max of 30, allowing more meaningful costs later in the game.
(%Income) or (%Treasury) % Percentage of Player Income per turn, treasury, or economy before outgoings. Another way of doing this kind of function.
File support Suggestions
If it's ever possible to add support for bik files to play in modded content, that would be great, as the tool is free and although less quality than bk2 would allow more people to make movies.
4th Choice
If it's possible to add support for additional user created choices beyond 3. To allow large events multiple responses, largely just for flavor and options for players, but not if it's much work.
