Two monitor system, typing on WC in chrome on monitor two. New wallpaper image on monitor 1 covers all windows. New wallpaper on monitor 2 changes behind chrome.
Do you mean the chrome window stays *in front* fully visible of the wallpaper overlay?
I'll have a fiddle and see if I can make the 'keep on top' aspect more aggressive. DesktopX already has an 'always on top' setting which I've used, but it's possible that it doesn't always get the priority. I can also apply a regular half second 'put me on top again' type command.
Level one: change wallpaper, level 2: lock PC, Level 3 disable input for five minutes
L1 would keep the wallpaper change in the background and all other user input unaltered?
L2 locking the PC - I'll check
L3 You sure!? LOL If the PC locks and then all input is ACTUALLY disabled for a period of time you could find yourself extremely angry.
And if an 'unlock' hotkey was set it would defeat the purpose. And if you did it for kids (who don't know the secret key) you may find an unceremoniously powered off PC or keyboard in pieces.
I'll work on L1 and L2. My concern would be anything which actually runs the risk of work being lost. E.g. some weird setting means sending a 'lock PC' command results in applications shutting down without saving, or a sleep mode activating that doesn't recover properly. e.g. my laptop sleep mode when wakes up doesn't enable USB ports properly - so anything that was running from USB drives just dies.
Please it's working though fairly well - any errors or virus warnings or somesuch? Are you using the gadget or the widgets/pack?
