You should be able to decommission/destroy ships (to save maintenance costs). It would be even better if (while at a shipyard and/or colony) you could recycle ship to either get money or add to current project. Recycling would be good for "destroy" buildings in colonies too. (for money or speed up current project in queue)
To decommission a ship, select that ship, click Details and then you will see the Decommission button. They plan to implement getting some credits back when you decommission a ship.
What does everyone think of the idea of adding to the current project instead of just coin?
Perhaps if you had to use some of the special resources to build a ship you should get some of those special materials back? like scraping a car or a current warship at a salvage/scrapyard?
