(.42 Patch)
Bugs
Constructors that have more modules than a Starbase requires end up going to defense ships instead of being available for upgrades:
Constructor with 3 modules (love this ability, BTW) and starbase only having 1 module available.

Constructor goes to defense instead of being available for upgrade.

When loading a saved game, shipyards are still empty even when building a ship. (Old bug still in game.)

Approval. I still can't really figure out approval but I will wait for a later build when more of the tech tree is available before commenting more. It just seems too hard to keep some planets happy.
Requests
Could the Planet Govern Screen (left side) please match the Civilization Govern Screen (left side)?

Homeworld. I would like the homeworld to start with more available tiles. In my most recent game, Earth was a 12 to start but I ran into planets around me that were 18-25. I will mod this if not placed in the game, but I think it just makes sense for the homeworld to start with maybe 18 tiles.
Ideology. Planetary invasions should generate ideology points. Right now, the opportunity for ideology points seems too limited. I also found myself wanting to get ideology from multiple trees (such as the approval bonus from "good" even though my main ideology was "neutral").
Shipyards. I know this doesn't seem to be the direction of the game, but I still believe planets should be able to build tiny and small ships without a shipyard. Shipyards would be needed for larger hulls. Adding defenses, starting at peace, has not changed my mind on this. Especially with mega games and 100 opponents, some of whom will go to war early, I believe this ability could prevent an early checkmate. Tiny and small ships will only delay the inevitable is the player doesn't make the right decisions, but at least they will have a chance.
A Ship Design
Okay, I love WWII style turrets on a starship as much as anybody (I am a huge Space Battleship Yamato fan), but let's face it, that is not where military tech is going. So, I made a ship that is low observable with internal weapons, defenses, and other stuff mounts. One thing I learned about the Ship Designer is that you can size a part to its max, save it as a custom part, then insert it into a design (where it will be at 100 scale) and size it up again to max. That is how I made the "arms" on this design.

Because the hardpoints for the original parts were few, I had to add parts to create more hardpoints for weapons, engines, defenses, etc.
