Been fairly busy in my world so I haven't had too much time to dig into this.  I'll have to say it's looking pretty good and I like the musical score for the humans. Even though it's still early so far things are looking good. 

Anyways, I downloaded the 0.42 BETA today. 

This might have been reported. It's late and I had some trouble getting into the website earlier.

- Below the main slider of the planet Govern screen there is no indication what the second slider is changing. I determined that this is the military / social spending slider by looking at the empire Govern screen.

- After updating the sliders, the turns remaining on current production does not update unless you leave the planet screen and re-enter.
