In playing the alpha/beta, I have on occasion built more starbases and shipyards than what I needed. It is annoying when there is a minimum distance that starbases must have in between each other.I'm wondering if there is some way to get rid of them? I'm assuming that this feature exist, that I merely missed it. If not, then it needs to be fixed in the next patch.
You can (finally!) decommission ships, but not starbases for some reason. The only way to get rid of them, at the moment, is to use the console. Select the starbase, open up the console, and type in "destroy" (without the quotation-marks).
Would love to see a button where you can destroy shipyards. I accidentally built a shipyard nearby a planet which was sponsoring another one already.
The game forced me to sponsor the new shipyard which I could not tore down. The only solution was to reload the previous autosave...
