Hey everyone!
So I just started playing and I am enjoying it so far, But there are a couple of issues I would like to raise, All of these are due to errors in how the game handles 21:9 aspect ratio.
First up, the menu screen!
As you can see at the sides the background image stretches horribly, however the UI works fine and is useable. However the background isn't nice to look at when you are at the menu screen setting things up.
This same issue happens during the cinematic video as well.
Second issue:
The Planet Interface Screen

On this screen you can see the bottom bit of the UI is cropped by the resolution, Which seems to suggest a Vert- (Vertical Minus) screen change (More info on WSGF: http://www.wsgf.org/article/screen-change )
Here is a 16:9 aspect ratio resolution as a comparison:

Its quite interesting as some parts of the UI get cropped and others don't, for example I haven't found any noticeable issues on any other section of the game, the technology and spaceship creator seem solid and have no issues. Its just the main menu and Govern Planet screen.
I've also noticed that if I chose 1920x1080 (16:9 aspect ratio) and check the full-screen button, it stretches the entire game horizontally. If I unchecked the full-screen button then it runs windowed.
If you would like to recreate this on a 16:9 monitor (or just see how 21:9 aspect ratio is like on a 16:9 monitor) then set up a custom resolution of 1920x810. You can find details online how to create a custom resolution.
If there is any other info you guys would like to know then feel free to ask!
