debug.err mentions uploading report to Steam

I noticed debug.err mentioning uploading a report to Steam. I "guess" that's OK although I prefer to know if my machine is communicating out.

In any event, does this mean I don't have to upload crash reports? I did on this last one, but if I see the game reported the crash than I'd rather not spend time duplicating it.

No, you still have to send them yourself. As stated here, the Steam crash report only works for 32-bit programs.
