Turn 275: The three AI players have a total of 9 planets between them. I have most of the rest on a large map. Early knockouts of their starports and then parking a military ship to destroy new starports they build is the reason. Maybe have both planetary and mobile starports for ship building is better to prevent this. Might even add "Hyperion Shipyard" improvements (multiple) that would act like factories for ship building. Then you could have the Martian Shipyards, etc.
I had a single instance where I had set a destination for a ship 4 turns away. After 1 turn, I found something interesting and wanted to change course. No matter what I did, I could not select the ship to alter its course until it arrived at its destination. Ship was inside its range limit. Only 1 instance of this bug at turn 242.
On the Manage Planet screen, if I bring up the Govern Planet screen, then hit Done of the Manage Planet screen, could that please exit the screen (instead of having to hit Done on the Govern Planet screen and again on the Manage Planet screen).
Speaking of Manage Planets, when I make changes to production, the turns to completion in the Manufacturing Queue do not dynamically update. I have to click forward or back on the scroll arrows at the top then return to the planet screen to see the effect of my changes to the turns to completion.
Ship path lines often do not appear on the Galaxy Map in the turn when a destination is set. They do appear in the next turn. It would help to see them displayed in the turn they are set.
Game crashed on turn 261 when trying to add a sponsor to a starport. It’s a repeatable crash on multiple starports. I have the debug file and the save game if you need them.
It would really help to have a notification when a starport is completed.
On turn 268, I could not attack anywhere on the map. As stated on the weekly video stream, saving and reloading the game worked. Happened again on turn 269.
The tech tree broke. Large Scale Construction suddenly leads nowhere, there’s a dark shadow to the right of it, and Hull Strengthening is sort of below and to the right with a short connecting line to the left that connects to nothing. (Turn 274) Closing the Tech Tree and Research window and reopening them fixed it.
Having to manually upgrade improvements when you’ve got 20+ colonies gets a bit tedious. I wish improvements would auto-upgrade as they did in GC 2.
