Here is my feed back after few games. Only one was concluded to the end. The reason I do not conclude games is it gets boring sending transport to enemy planet. The best part of the game is exploring. Exploring the map, exploring how the game works, and exploring what I can do. After that, it is rather boring. But, considering that it is alpha, the game is doing great. It has some charm.
Here are few points I would like to make.
1. The production wheel. I like it better than the slider in Gal Civ 2. It is more intuitive on how I am allocating my resources. There are two points, I see. First, it is tedious just using the wheel to get precise numbers. When I want to get 100% research or any exact percentage, moving the pointer to the exact place is bothersome. Second, I find it odd that I have to go outside the line connecting the economy, production, and research icons to get the numbers I want.
2. Bonus on tile on planet- The old symbol is sometimes used for things I am not expecting. It is annoying but forgivable. But, the bigger problem is invisible bonus to tile. Some tiles seems to have bonus, but there is no symbol to mark it on the planet screen unless I click on the exact tile. I would like to see what bonus the planet has at a glance especially when some bonus are actually visible at a glance.
3. Culture- I still have no idea what culture does. There are other things, I am not certain of other things as well. How does planet quality effect the planet aside from tiles that can be used? How does food affect the planet? Also, I have hard time figuring out what some technology do. I assume lack of information is an alpha thing.
