so far the game looks good and plays well.  some of the things I have come across are

1) not researching - a couple of times i have gone at least a couple turns without doing any research.  I think it was done by going into the research screen, but not choosing anything and exiting.

2) "lost scout" not doing anything - I think this was again, after being presented with the survey ship finding a lost scout, and then me not doing anything with it on that turn, it sat doing nothing until i rediscovered it when I found the ship listing screen.

3) money not adding up - this i am sure is due to the use of whole INT numbers for the display, while the actual math is done allowing for decimals.  still, on the govern display, it looks ODD

4) stuck foreign fleet - A foreign fleet approached to colonize a planet in a system we both had colonies.  The turn right before he would have colonized the 4th planet, his 1 colony planet reverted to my control, im guessing since i had 2, and his fleet became stuck within my space, and I was also then unable to colonize the 4th planet myself.  his fleet was literally on the next space with scouts and a colony ship.  no one was able to colonize that planet.

5) colony farms to xeno farms - while with power plants you were able to upgrade as well as markets and research centers, the farms had to be destroyed to place xeno farms instead of colony farms.  I would have expected the ability to do upgrade as well.

6) screen movement - I would have expected to be able to scroll around the galaxy by moving the pointer to one side of the screen to scroll it, it just felt unnatural, not being able to do that since everything else was so fluid.

7) the sounds while in planet view - OH MY, can we tone down the loud booming sound while in planet view?

8) you all lied - when starting a game you get the screen that says this is not fun.. but purely for feed back.  Thats a lie.. it is fun ;>)

suggestions:

1) make the galaxies resemble galaxies, spirals, bar..etc types

2) always have a max zoom out that can see the WHOLE map, please.  even if you cannot show icons of things, at least so you can see the big picture.  I understand screen resolutions.

3) continue to make MAX use of all cores on a machine.  I am running right now with 2 quad core xeons giving me 8 cores, and I see from process explorer that you all are making good use of a number of them..but please feel free to use them all :>))
