While I kind of like the turn button in the lower right telling you that you have idle planets, idle ships, etc, I really miss the notification of WHAT the idle planets just completed.  Combined with the fact that the planet administration window doesn't show you ships in orbit, I find myself manually scanning my list of planets, looking for the idle ones, and checking each to see if it had just completed building a ship that needs to be launched.  So I'm never using the ability to cycle through all idle planets via the button.  Plus, while it's been ok on tiny or small galaxies, on larger ones the list of planets will grow and it will become impractical or at least tedious to visually scan the planet list myself.

So I hope there's something in the works to restore event notifications in some fashion.
