I love the tool-tips, played FE:LH and it has wonderful tool-tips.
Issue:
There is one issue with tool-tips is that they cover up parts of the screen. Specifically the mini-map. There are a few buttons on the right to toggle the planets, anomalies, stars, etc. When you hover over this the tool-tip covers the mini-map. I like to use these buttons to turn on and off to get a general idea of the planets by flashing them. Becomes difficult to do this when the tool-tip hovers over the mini-map and you can no longer see the mini-map.
Suggestion:
Might I suggest that these tool-tips are moved to the other side of the mini-map. Or possibly move the buttons so as to not cover up the map with the tool-tips.
Hopeful Wish:
I would even like it if we had the ability to go into our strategic map mode and turn off asteroids / anomalies / planets.
Treat it like a strategic map, where we can remove things we are not concerned about at the moment at a click of a button.
-- If I want to colonize planets, I really don't care about the stars or anomalies. Be nice to even remove non-viable planets at the click of a button.
-- If I'm at war, I don't want to be bothered by stars / planets / asteroids. I want a clean look of spaceships of the enemies.
Even if you don't remove them, a simple ping type feature, where these elements are highlighted with an upward glow to show me here are the things in which you are interested.
