1. Good god I love the Drengin Splash
2. Main menu's are crisp and intuitive. No information on "Technologies". I am not sure what these are. They are all identical to the others (except for Iridium, they have an extra.) I'm running on the assumption that there are unique techs in each of the trees for that civ.
3. Starport information text needs some... er... tender loving care.
4. I think the view would be more slick at a more shallow angle.
5. Love the MULEesque economy of scale bonuses (Did Galciv II have this and I just don't remember)
6. Movement: Do ships have to zig zag through each hex? Could they move across a straight line when moving up and down?
7. I think you need to include a research completed dialog box that pops up when you are finished with a project. For me, that little bit of feedback is critical in keeping engagement high.
8. Nebula:
Love the mechanic. Is there anyway that we could get the fog of war to reflect the limitation on our sensors? This may have to be tuned a little higher to make them more strategically important. Perhaps 75% reduction in sensor range?
9. I just noticed the planets are all illuminated by their star... nice.
Overall, everything is looking great. I find this unacceptable. I was promised no fun.
