This sure is something, being that it is still a year out, but here is what I believe will need fixing:
1. The text on the right side of the screen hurts my eyes to look at (at 1080p), perhaps because the resolution is not quite right.
2. I like the sound saying that my turn is complete, but it is a little to much. Maybe too loud?
3. Music changing when pulling up menu's is a little disturbing. I would like the music to fade when opening menu's but not change.
4. I really don't like how thick the ship autopilot lanes are, they seem in the way.
5. The ships zig-zagging whenever they go straight up or down bothers me for some reason.
6. The hexes on the planet screen are had to distinguish. If the background is green, the green tiles are hard to pick out. They should be much more obvious.
7. It'll be awesome when the tech tree gets done, as I have no idea what the sequence of technologies are. I just click and hope. Click and hope.
8. The zooming is VERY smooth, and that is wonderful. I love the strategic view, very informative.
9. I like the highlights on the hex grid as you move your mouse over it. I feel that's how thin the autopilot lines should be.
10. It would be cool if the planet or ship in the infocard spun when that item was selected.
11. I am finding ships waaaaay too much. I found a colony ship, gunboat, and two survey ships within 10 minutes of play.
12. I like how the sensor's view is obstructed by nebulae.
13. The ships defending your planet should have pictures in the infocard.
14. I don't want to 'EJECT' my ships. This needs a new name.
15. There should be an option to minimize the info on the right. Also perhaps the minimap. The hole friggin thing. Just like GC2.
16. I have encountered 6 class 13+ planets very close to my home planet. It seems they are only very good or unusable. This is bad.
17. I really want to be able to build ships separate from planetary upgrades. It could take more time to do both, if you do, but I feel that civilizations will go broke or move very slowly at the beginning if things are done this way.
18. When in strategic zoom, the mouseover infocards sometimes don't show up when looking at planet classes.
19. Even though we have discussed this, I would really like the number of citizens to have a 'b' after it or something to show exactly how many.
This is the alpha so I know a lot of this will be fixed, but it is what I see now that needs to be corrected.
Edit: Grammar. We all suck at it.
