So, 2 minutes in, and I already see something that is either not intended or hasn't been introduced yet. Just bringing it up so that we're aware of it.
When watching my ships move around (specifically the initial Terran Survey Ship, after finding a +2 distance cap survey thing), I see that the pathing indicator--the end of it where it indicates how many turns it takes to make it to that numbered location--also increases one hex for each space moved by the unit. This is a bit confusing. On top of this, the ship does not move the full distance indicated. Looking around at the other ships, and this appears to be across the board for the starting ships and the couple scout ships I've found while Surveying.
Now, this is no way detracts from the overall play of the game, just seems a bit odd. Unless, of course, I've misinterpreted the purpose of the pathing line with numbers. Not impossible! LOL
That said, I love everything about it so far.
No bugs encountered and everything feels intuitive when navigating the UI. That's a definite plus right there!
