I used to play a lot Quake 3 cpma mode, and i developed a taste for fast and totally skilled based shooters, hence, I do not enjoy much Battlefield nor COD. 

Recently i have discovered Shootmania, paid for the instance beta access and I really enjoy it. Game is simple, not many guns, but with many fun modes and lots of skills involved to master. It is pure shooting, pure as it gets. Thought game a little bit simplistic in the beginning (you cannot change your weapon for most of the time, you have only three weaps in game, you have no health nor truly armor) but still game is blast. Some modes involve big teams and lots of strategy as well. Give it a try if you like this kind of old-style shooters. 

Game is designed with both professional and newcomers, can be both highly competitive and fun to play once in a while.
