Well not my first first game, but first game I acutaly finished.

I have started sevral big games earlier, two games in Rebellion, and one big one with sacrefice of angels 2,

This one was with the distant star mod for diplomecy, it was a small 2 vs 2 some 9 planets and one star.

At first I did have some problems but about half way through I had kicked the Advent out of it's homeplanet and locked it away on a new planet, the new planet had only one hyper space road, and it lead to a astriod belt, were I had placed a starbase and had my main fleet, so in esence bottles them up on their planets, so while I had 5 planet and astriod systems, they were bottles up on one planet, thereby severly limiting how much resources they could get, I still did not have super income, so my research and ship building took quite a while, my starbase and fleet was also in the intersection of the whole system, so any enemy or pirate wthat wanted to attack my home planet, my astriods and another planet they had to fight 4 capital ships, a star base and sevral dozen smaller ships.

So after 2 hours I actualy had total control, but there was still a problem, the advent bottles up still have a huge starbase, lots of very powerfull gun platforms and 3 capital ships, So strong a base for me to attack I did try a few times, but lost heavly and had to retreat. But the advent did not go out of their base, as they could not handle my fleet with out the base and gun platforms.

My allied TEC(I was alos tec) had problems with the vasari, they kept fighting over an astriod system, feeding in ships nilly pilly, After watching this for two hours, I recond the Vasari were weakend enough, I sent in my fleet, killed off their home planet easy, my TEC allies tok out their second system that was just a small astriod,

As I attacked, the Advent has spied on my system, as I moved my fleet away, they judged it was time to break out, so they attacked my starbase with their ships, as the vasari were no match for me, I sent back half my fleed, which by now had quite a few capital ships, My half fleet was powerfull enough to handle the advent attack fleet, togeather with my starbase they made quick work of them, after I had colonised the vasari home planet, I combined my fleet again, and attack the advent home planet. They had allready gotten a new capital ship up, but my 6 capital ships with some 20 squadrons, and 20 smaller ships, took them.

I won the game after 4 hours and 4 minutes. I had domniated the game the last 2 hours, I was just to stupid or not good enough to end it sooner. One of my capital ships reach level 7. It was my first capital ship of the game, and had surived the entire game, tho it was in few close run things.
