I use a zoomer dock with icons for folders that drop down as lists when I click on them. Some programs won't run from the dropdown list. For instance, with Comodo Internet Security I receive error msg
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Comodo Internet Security\cfp.exe
The specified path does not exist
Check the path and try again."
Of course, that path doen't exist, because Comodo installs in C:\program files\Comodo...etc, not in C:\program Files (x86)!
If I click on Folder:Applications, which opens the Applications folder, the program opens fine. I've checked the shortcut and it points to the correct folder.
This seems to happen only on 64-bit programs.
What am I doing wrong?

Stardock does not support 64bit Windows applications January 2014
It's not you. Or at least not entirely. I did get my issue resolved by using xeroOne's method. (Thanks!)

Actually I think I had to search for symlink and got the actual steps. xeroOne's instructions are probably spot on but I needed more info to pull it off. I can be thick that way. If anyone needs the short bus instructions like me shout out and I will dig it out and post.
Just to reiterate my problem was solved but it was IMO an unnecessary work around. This should be baked into Stardock for proper 64 bit support. We are well into the second decade of the 21st century and having to do this extra research and steps does not sound like they are serious about the future of the product anymore. Actually no one from support stepping into this forum thread on THEIR website really sends up red flags. Embarrassing really.
I think I read the biggest downloads for Windows 8 are the utilities that allow it to work like Windows 7. Stardock and like products have to be booming right now as many people skip the metro and go straight to the desktop simply because it is more efficient.
Hard to believe someone already established in the game is not making bank right now.
