I was wondering if there are currently hooks to write spouse resurrection quests. I was thinking of something along these lines:
When a spouse dies, a quest location for a funeral appears near the capital.
When the player goes to the funeral location, the procession begins. During the procedings, something happens, such as a myserious witch saying the spouse is not quite dead yet, etc. Player needs to do blah blah, and then bam, spouse is brought back to life.
The details and flavor of the quest can be worked out later.
Right now, I was wondering the following:
1. Is it possible to trigger a quest on spouse death.
2. Is it possible to bring back units? How do you tag them, etc
So the spouse isn't all dead, just mostly dead?
Kidding aside, I love this idea.
More like the spirit of the spouse has not quite passed on and it can still be tied back to this world....
Good idea! I'd like to see this applied to more then just the spouse but all champions.

I think Age of Wonders have something like that, Heroes come back hero zombies?? Would be pretty cool! As zombies they should have 1 intelligence but a lot of hp!

That was the Death Magic way, the life magic version brought them back to true life, but could only be used once per champion.
