As for the leanings of this area, I have no clue whether it is Orange County conservative, or San Francisco Liberal.  I do know that I was bashing the school administrators (registered Democrats), and the stupidity and ignorance of the fact that may 5 is a non day on BOTH sides of the border.  perhaps you should read closer, and ASS-U-me less.

The school district knows they have a disaster on their hands. As a UCLA lawyer pointed out, the school district itself says there was no violation by the students,  Again, it was just a couple of left morons that do now know when the Mexican independence day is, and instead of using the situation as a teaching moment to do what they are actually paid to do - educate children - they blew it big time.  They are lucky they were not fired on the spot for gross ignorance and malfeasance.

No, in that case, the lawless thugs have won, and there is no point in any freedoms.  Sorry, that is just wrong on so many levels.  We cannot, should not, and must not allow the thugs to dictate what we can lawfully do, especially not in a supposed government run institution.  Period.

I doubt there would have been any further incidence if the idiot administrators had not made it an issue.  It seemed the students got through half the day with no incidences, and most of the students did not even attach any significance to either the wearing of the flags or the non-holiday of the date.  But the idiots in charge sure made a huge mess out of it.  I think the city should bill the idiots for the cost of the police escort for those 200 illiterate students march.

To further clarify what I meant on my original comment, namely the part: "It happens all the time..."  

What I meant is that school administration, or teachers overreacting is a common thing from what I have seen, and, it isn't limited to areas that are liberal - it can, and has happened in conservative areas. 

Anyways, like I said, my comments were intended to poke fun at what you said.

You've got to commend their efforts (even if you disagree with their policies) that they have done an excellent job of cloaking their intentions from the 1960's on to the present. It's no small feat to have the people you've oppressed or marginalized for generations, support your cause in such high numbers.

It seems people will believe a lot when it comes with "free stuff". It also helps when you control the schools... I was actually "taught" in history of the political parties from the dawn of the USA. Had to learn the "changes" (aka, how the whigs fell, etc)... one of said changes was the "flip" where the democrats and republicans somehow swapped their views and composition and all the racists left the party responsible for jim crowley laws and promoting slavery to become republicans, and all the anti slavery pro freedom and equality left the republicans to become democrats...

I also learned that texas has the "worst" government in the USA, that the USA is responsible for numerous war crimes over the years. That the USA is an evil expansionist empire. That vietnam was an "evil war" for the USA where the USA supported a brutal dictatorship that included legalized rape, murder and torture against the "party of the people" and so on...

Hint: all the above claims about the USA are lies, smears by the leftist nuts.

I'll bite (though I don't enjoy feeding "one-liner" members, that add little or nothing to the conversation). Now, do you mean Republicans should have adopted the left's policy of masking their racism with entitlements and race based programs or that they should have warned people that don't want to open their own eyes? When Democrat leaders (Remember Joe Biden's word's “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American presidential candidate who is articulate and bright and clean-cut and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man,” as opposed to a crack dealer, pimp or what?) practically spill their hearts to you (who could forget Jesse Jackson's comments about Obama "acting like he's white," and "Hymie town" comment, do I need to go on?). Just look to the left to make racial accusations while they are fully engaged in the act themselves. 

Next question: It is the responsibility of both parties to preserve the ideals of the Constitution. YOU inserted the word "RUIN" America, not I. Guilty conscience getting to you? Is the right stupid... no we understand fully what the left is doing. The left does have strong media allies and a base that laps up everything they say, take yourself for example. So I'd say it more of a challenge to not go down into their race baiting attempts to sling mud, are not - are too, arguments. The right does have it's faults, keep people down without them knowing it is not one of them. So to conclude, I'll let you count up the number of years each party had control of the Congress, so you can judge for yourself who had the greater influence on policy and laws we live under today.

Congress would be considered the Federal level. If someone can follow politics at the state and local level for all 50 states, they must have too much time on their hands or do it for a living. The House has 435 seats alone, with another 100 in the Senate. That's enough knuckleheads for anyone to keep track of.
